DUE TO MASSIVE WATER DAMAGE TO OUR INVENTORY WE ARE CLOSED UNTIL FUTHRER NOTICE
On July 6th during the rainstorm the leak that had occurred after Winter Storm Fern returned. This time, water damaged a large percentage of the store inventory, pouring down from the ceiling, and splashing onto books across multiple shelves.
Right now, its just me running the store, and as a for-profit business, I’m not legally allowed to have volunteers working for me. Hilariously, I had people lined up for interviews all day yesterday. Instead, I’m cataloguing, salvaging, and disposing of books destroyed by this flood solo. That’s ok. Y’all just have to be patient with me.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
It is going to be really important to let folks know when we re-open. If you’re the Social Media type, maybe repost us on your stories, or if you’ve bought books from us, take a pic and tag us in your post, tell your followers why they should come to Wolfe & Kron for their next read.
Or hey! If you have some of our merch, wear it out and about and tell folks where you got it! Take pics wearing it and repost with us tagged!

WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR FOLKS TO pick up a numbered stack of our pickle bookmarks to HAND OUT AT THE BEACH, AT THE BAR, AT THE COFFEE SHOP …wherever you see someone with a book in their hand. Part-time booksellers wanted! Must be able to work mornings, nights, and weekend shifts.
You’ll be shelving, alphabetizing, helping customers find that one yellow book, and checking them out at the register. You’ll also be tasked with keeping the store tidy and stickers, pins, and bookmarks stocked.
Yes, you’ll also go home with a pile of books to add to your TBR.

Do you want to meet the authors who are your heroes?
We’re looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join Wolfe & Kron Books and help us grow our Workshops, Book Clubs, Community Activities. This really does mean everything from some naarishkeit like bedazzling horseshoe crabs, to organizing and coordinating a multi-author event complete with panels and dinners. The sky is the limit and our customers expect us to deliver the unexpected.

Despite our ever so tall shelves, we still can’t fit all the books we want to stock at the store.

Yes, we love our Romance (and Romantasy),Manga, Thrillers, Horror, and everything else in between, but our hearts belong to the dragons and the stars are ever our destination.
